Why Pawtopia cares for rescue animals.
At Pawtopia, our priority is maintaining exceptional standards, promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle, and dedicating ourselves to aiding rescued animals.
We are passionate about creating a world where all animals are treated with love, respect, and care. Our journey towards this goal started when we decided to find a sister for Stout, an endless curious mind. During our search, we stumbled upon a group of 80+ dogs that were rescued from a dog slaughter farm in Asia. These dogs were in dire need of love, care, and a home. We were moved by their plight and decided to take in one of these pups, Bailey, as our foster.
When we first started fostering Bailey, we were not sure what to expect. She had been through a traumatic experience and was skinny from malnutrition. However, we were in for a big surprise when we saw her sweet and affectionate nature. Every morning, she would greet us with kisses and tail wags, asking for belly rubs, and jumping with joy whenever we took her for a walk. It was difficult to imagine that such a sweet pup was once considered food by somebody. We failed to foster her and decided to welcome her into our family as our second pup.
The experience of fostering Bailey inspired us to do more for rescue pets. We knew that there were many pups out there who were at risk of being killed, mistreated, or abandoned. So, we decided to take action and help in any way we could. Our small steps to help include making a donation from our business to support rescue pups, fostering pups with trauma to help socialize them and get them ready for their forever homes, and helping them find homes through our Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/rescuebypawtopia/), which we operate in partnership with a rescue organization.
In 2022, we fostered 3 pups and helped 8 pups find homes through our social media outreach. Although our impact is small, we believe that we have changed the lives of these pups for the better. Our vision is to create a Pawtopia where no animal is mistreated, abandoned, abused, or killed. We believe that every small step counts, and we are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of animals in need.
